So, Cross Muay Thai made sure their cross training zone is the perfect set-up to complement their martial arts zone, giving you efficient strength and conditioning training plus the explosive power and cardio of Muay Thai.
PURE MUAY THAI
A martial arts that uses 8 weapons – your legs, knees, elbows, fists. And because it requires active all over body movement, it is one of the most effective ways to burn calories and develop better cardio, strength and boost your metabolic rate. Classes are divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. For many people who just want to learn self defence, Muay Thai would also be the most effective martial art for any size, weight and height.
We know that when you build more lean muscle, your body becomes a more efficient calorie-burning machine. So our focus is exactly just that - to help you build more and maintain the lean muscle. These classes are circuit training based where kettle bells, free weights, pull up bars, sled, battle rope, and barbells come into play to challenge yourself to go to higher levels of fitness.
MUAY THAI TECHNIQUE
Master the techniques in footwork, posture, balance, punching, kicking, knees and elbows. Perfect for all levels.
Boxing is one of the proven forms of fight training that is effective in burning calories and fat fast and in a more interactive manner. Learn the proper way to throw punches, trim the waist from the twisting actions needed in boxing and tone the arms and core. Ideal for people with little or no exercise experience and knee problems.
Mixing up Martial Arts Cardio with high intensity weighted and body-weight exercises and short recovery periods, Cross Fight gives you one of the fastest workouts to build lean muscle fast. Because of the high intensity of these classes, the duration of the class runs for about 60 minutes which goes in line with the HiiT concept of exercise which gives you the after burn effect, which means your body will still burning calories to compensate for what was lost and what your muscles need for recovery for at least 24 hours after the class.
